Dr. Fu is the President of China Textile Engineering Society, Member of the 10th National Committee of China Association for Science and Technology, Chairman of Federation of Asian Professional Textile Associations, Distinguished Expert of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Vice Chairman of the Presidium of the Advanced Materials Alliance of CAST Member Societies, Industrial Professor of Jiangsu Province, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Donghua University, etc. He is the executive deputy director of the editorial board of Journal of Textile Research, and the deputy director of the editorial board of Journal of Silk and Wool Textile Journal. He has published more than 60 academic papers; obtained 45 authorized patents; formulated 5 national standards; won 1 first prize and 5 second prizes of Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Progress Awards; and he was awarded as National Textile Advanced Worker.
