Dr. Fugetsu is a Project Professor at Institute for Future Initiatives and the Head of Nanotechnology Innovation Research Unit. His main area of research interest focuses on making organic/inorganic hybridized nanostructures with cellulose nanofibers and metal ions as the constitutive elements, manufacturing mono-dispersed carbon nanoparticle (including carbon nanotubes, graphene, and fullerene) suspensions, creating ultra-long lengthened graphene and/or the carbon-nanotube based yearns, developing ultra-large sized graphene and/or the carbon-nanotube based networks, phyto nano-toxicity assessment and the expert in energy storage and environmental remediation.
