Dr. Zhang is a researcher and a doctoral advisor in Jiangnan University, a leading expert in military civilian integration in Jiangsu Province, and a recipient of the Jiangsu Excellent Youth Fund. His research focuses on the design and manufacturing of advanced woven composites in extreme environments. He has led and undertaken over 30 provincial/national-level projects and military industry horizontal projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation/Youth Fund, Jiangsu Provincial Excellent Youth/Youth Fund, National Defense Science and Technology Commission, Military Science and Technology Commission, and Aerospace Administration. Dr. Zhang has published over 80 papers in high-level journals of composite materials, obtained 15 national invention patents, participated in 2 national team standards, participated in the editing of 3 Books, and won the second prize of the Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Award, the second Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of China National Textile and Apparel Council, the excellent doctoral thesis of the China Textile Engineering Society, and the Zhishan Youth of Jiangnan University.
