Dr. Ren is a professor and the Director of The Provincial Collaborative Innovation Center for Advanced Textile Equipment Technology at Zhongyuan University of Technology. With titles like National Leading Talent in Textile Science and Technology Innovation and Outstanding Professional and Technical Talent in Henan Province, he's made significant contributions to the field. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the Cotton Textile Professional Committee of the China Textile Engineering Society and the Henan Textile Engineering Society. Dr. Ren's research focuses on cotton combing and new spinning technologies. He's led the development of highefficiency cotton combing machines and digital single-eye combing machines, earning 32 invention patents and publishing over 150 academic papers. His work, particularly the project Key Technologies and Industrialization Application of High-Efficiency Cotton Spinning and Combing, was recognized with the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2014.
