Dr. Fang is a professor and doctoral supervisor in the College of Textile and Clothing Engineering at Suzhou University. He specializes in research related to functional fiber materials, flexible wearable intelligent textiles, nanofibers, and high-performance textiles. Dr. Fang is a recipient of the Overseas High-Level Talent Plan youth project, and he was recognized as an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent in

Jiangsu province in 2020. Currently, he serves as the director of the Key Laboratory of Intelligent Textile and Clothing Flexible Devices in the Textile Industry, under the China Textile Industry Federation. He is also a member of the Youth Work Committee of the China Textile Engineering Society and an expert in engineering youth communication for the Journal of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Additionally, he holds editorial roles in prestigious journals such as Advanced Fiber Materials, Nano Micro Letters, and eScience. Dr. Fang has an impressive publication record, including over 110 journal papers in top-tier journals, multiple books, book chapters, and more than 20 patents. His research has made substantial contributions to the field of textile and clothing engineering.
