Dr. Li is a National Outstanding Youth Science Founding winner, professor of Beihang University, doctoral supervisor, discipline leader of braided composite materials and mechanics, Young Scientist Award of China Composite Materials Society. He has been engaged in the research work of composite materials, mechanics, chemistry, machinery and textile technology in the interdisciplinary fields for a long time. With the combination of experiments, theory, and calculations, he has carried out the preparation and performance/function characterization of macro-structure, micro/nano structure, natural/bionic structure composite materials, development and application of high-performance three-dimensional textile structure composite parts and related equipment research and development. He has published more than 180 research papers, obtained 13 granted patents, and presided over more than 40 research projects such as the National Defense Science and Technology Innovation Special Zone project of the Military Science and Technology Commission, the National Natural Science Foundation, and the Beijing Municipal Foundation.
