Dr. Liang is a distinguished professor and doctoral supervisor at Beijing Institute of Technology, the deputy secretary general of Chinese Society for Composite Materials and the executive director of SAMPE Beijing. He is also a winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and recognized as Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions of the National

Talent Project. Prof. Liang mainly engaged in the study of the mechanics of composite materials, characterization and evaluation of thermal resistant materials and structural properties. His achievements have been identified and he has laid the foundation of the design and engineering application of composite materials. He has published more than 180 SCI papers, and won a number of national and provincial and ministerial awards.
