Dr. Yin is a professor of Wuhan Textile University. He is a recipient of the Hubei Outstanding Youth Fund, a leader of the innovation team by the Hubei Provincial Department of Education. His research focuses on biomass nanofiber preparation, processing, and application, as well as the surface modification of nonwoven materials. He has been awarded with titles such as Sunshine Scholar Distinguished

Professor and Sunshine Youth Top Talent, Outstanding Young Talent Project of Hubei Province, Textile Light Teacher Award and second prize in Science and Technology of Hubei Province. His research papers have gained more than 2,150 citations and an H-index of 26. he also serves as a guest editor of journals named “Frontiers in Energy Research” and “Nanomaterials”.
