Dr. Yu is a Professor, doctoral supervisor, and Dean of the College of Textile Science and Engineering at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. He is the Zhejiang Province High -level Talent Special Support Program scientific and technological innovation leader, leading academic figure in China's textile industry, leader of the national first-class undergraduate program Nonwoven Materials and Engineering construction site, deputy director of the Nonwoven Materials and Engineering Sub committee of the Ministry of Education Higher Education Textile Professional Education Guidance Committee. Dr. Yu has led over 20 research projects, including national key research and development projects, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Ministry of Science and Technology's international cooperation projects. In the past years, he won one special prize, two first prizes, and two second prizes for teaching achievements at the provincial and ministerial levels as the first accomplished person, and one second prize for national teaching achievements as the third accomplished person. He has received 2 first prize and 2 second prize for provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress.
