Dr. Lan is a Professor, Top-Notch Young Professionals of National Program, the Vice Dean of Southwest University's School of Sericulture, Textile, and Biomass Science. He has dedicated his career to the study and advancement of fast hemostatic materials and biomedical textile materials. He has overseen more than 20 research projects in the last three years, including those under the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the GF Innovation Program. He has published more than 40 SCI papers in wellknown

journals, including Advanced Functional Materials, Bioactive Materials, Chemical Engineering Journal, etc. He has applied for 25 national invention patents, and 12 of them have been authorized (2 have been transformed). He has been on CCTV2 Program-Heroes of Entrepreneurship- to show cotton’s quick coagulation technology that he developed. Under his supervision, many students won the national gold medal once (2022) and the National Bronze Medal twice (2019 and 2021) in the Internet+ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
