Dr. Zhang is a second-level professor and the Dean of the Tianhong Textile Research Institute at Nantong University. He is also a member of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Textile Majors in Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education, a leader of the key disciplines in Jiangsu Province, Director of Jiangsu Nonwoven Materials and Engineering Practice Education Center, a leader of the key base for high-end textile industry, education and integration in Jiangsu Province, a responsible person of the first batch of national first-class undergraduate major construction sites, Nantong University's Nonwoven Materials and Engineering major, and the national first-class course Nonwovens. His main research interests include the structure and performance of nonwoven materials, high-performance nonwoven material forming technology and product development, and preparation technology and application of functional nonwoven composite structural materials. He won the second prize of Outstanding Scientific Research Achievements (Science and Technology) in Higher Education Institutions by the Ministry of Education in 2021, and the first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the China Textile Industry Federation in 2019 and 2015.
