Dr. He, a professor and doctoral supervisor at Donghua University, was awarded “Shanghai Pujiang Scholar”. She is the director of the Medical Hollow Fiber Membrane Research Group at Donghua University and the fixed member of the State Key Laboratory of Modification of Chemical Fibers and Polymer Materials. She’s engaged in the structural design, matrix material synthesis and

anticoagulation mechanism research of medical hollow fiber membrane materials. Her group has developed and applied medical hollow fiber membrane using various raw materials,including cellulose, cellulose acetate, modified polyacrylonitrile, polysulfone, blended polyethersulfone and polyolefin. She has also developed a variety of new hollow fiber artificial organs, some of which have been industrialized. She has obtained more than 40 Chinese patents.
