Dr. Yu is a professor and holds a prominent position at Wuyi University as the Director of the School of Textile Materials and Engineering. He is also the Executive Director of the China Textile and Clothing Education Society and a Director of the China Textile Engineering Society. In addition, he serves as the Deputy Director of the Guangdong Textile Engineering Society and holds a position as Director at the Jiangmen Textile Engineering Society. His research interests include the preparation and structural regulation of fiber material, and its application research. He has published more than 60 SCI-indexed papers in academic journals such as Advanced Materials, Biomaterials and so on. Dr. Yu has also applied for more than 20 invention patents, presided over more than 20 projects, won three textile industry science and technology awards, one Jiangmen City Science and Technology Progress award.
