Dr. Wang is a professor of Donghua University, the director of Key Laboratory of Textile Science & Technology of Ministry of Education, the director of the 111 Project 2.0 Biomedical Textile Materials Science and Technology and the vice president of the China Nonwoven & Industrial Textiles Association, Branch of Medical and Health Products. Her main research interests include functional design, forming and evaluation of biomedical textiles. She has been granted with 100 Chinese invention patents, published more than 250 scientific papers and 7 books as a co-editor and/or contributing author. Prof. Wang’s team has industrialized several textile-based medical products as artificial blood vessel stent graft, medical suture, hernia repair patch and functional dressing and assisted enterprises in obtaining 11 registration certificates for Class III medical devices. She has won two First Prizes of Science and Technology Progress and four First Prizes of Education awarded by the provincial government or the Chinese Textile Industry Federation.
