Dr. Shou is an Endowed Young Scholar of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), Head of Future Intelligent Wear Centre (PolyU-SZRI), and Program Leader of MSc in Intelligent Wearable Technology. His research focuses on advanced textile materials, intelligent wearable technology, and personalized thermal and humidity management. He has been selected to be the recipient of the Fiber Society's 2023 Distinguished Achievement Award, listed in the Top 2% Scientists Worldwide 2022 by Stanford University, and honored as Limin Endowed Young Scholar in Advanced Textiles Technologies. He has won over ten international invention and innovation awards, including the Geneva Invention Award in Switzerland and the TechConnect Global Innovation Award in the United States (15% awarding rate). He has published more than 70 SCI papers in prestigious journals such as Science Advances, PNAS, Advanced Energy Materials, and Advanced Functional Materials, and served as an editorial member of 7 Q1/Q2 SCI journals. Over the past two years, he has been granted with 3 US patents.
