Dr. Yang is the Changjiang distinguished professor in Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and serves as the chairman of China Plastics Processing Industry Association, the vice chairman of China Plastics Machinery Industry Association, the consultant expert of Rubber Institute, Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China, and Member of China Renewable Energy Society. In the past 30 years, his team focused the interdisciplinary fields of power engineering and engineering thermophysics, mechanical engineering and materials science and engineering. In the field of energy, resources, environment and health, the team strives to develop along the key directions of polymer material processing and intelligent manufacturing, clean energy and low-carbon intelligent manufacturing. Up to date, Prof. Yang has led more than 60 projects such as National Natural Science Foundation, Science and Technology Support Plan, Key R&D Plan and Industry-University-Research Cooperation. He creatively put forward a new idea of green manufacturing of polymer melt differential electrospinning nanofibers, invented a series of new processing methods and equipment,and led the team to achieve many innovative results.
