Dr. Yang is currently a professor in the College of Optoelectronic Engineering, Chongqing University, director/vice secretary-general of the Precision Machinery Branch of the Chinese Society of Instrumentation, director of the Sensor Branch of the Chinese Society of Instrumentation, and Chongqing Outstanding Innovation Leader. He has presided over and participated in 3 NSFC projects, 2 NSFC key projects, 1 national major instrument project, one 863 major project, and two 863 special projects. His main research area is flexible materials/devices, acoustic sensing, and nondestructive testing technology. Since 2008, he has published 50 SCI retrieval papers as the first author and corresponding author, including 20 papers in Zone 1 (IF> 10), 6 highly cited papers in ESI, and 1 hot topic paper in ESI. The papers have been cited for more than 2000 times.
