Dr. Ling is an assistant professor in the School of Physical Science and Technology at ShanghaiTech University. He obtained his Ph.D. from Fudan University. Prior to joining ShanghaiTech University, he worked as a postdoctoral associate at MIT and Tufts University. His primary research interests focus on biological materials and devices. He has published more than 60 peer-reviewed papers as the corresponding or first author in Nature Communications, Science Advances, Advanced Materials, Nature Reviews Materials, etc. He serves as an executive director of the First Executive Council of the Fiber Material Modification and Composite Technology Branch of the Chinese Materials Research Society. He also serves on the young editorial advisory board of Nano-Micro Letters, Materials Futures, and ACS Biomaterials Science and Engineering, etc.
