Dr. Wu is a professor of School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Tiangong University. He is the director of the Water Purification and Membrane Material Application Technology Base in China Textile Engineering Society, and the committee member of China Youth Committee in International Water Association (IWA). He has received Tianjin's 131 talent fellowship and is Tianjin Young

Backbone Innovative Science and Technology talent. He has a special interest in water and wastewater treatment by membrane separation technique, printing and dyeing wastewater treatment, ceramic membrane preparation and process development, as well as microbial electrochemistry. He has over 30 publications in journals including Water Research, Chemical Engineering Journal, Separation and Purification Technology, etc. He is also serving as a young editorial board for Industrial Water Treatment. He was awarded Tianjin Teaching Achievement Award (First Prize), Tianjin Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Prize) and China Textile Industry Association Science and Technology Progress Award (First Prize).
