Dr. Li is a professor-level senior engineer, senior researcher of Textile Science and Technology Innovation Center, Donghua University. He has been engaged in the bio-manufacturing of biobased chemicals and bio-based materials, and has successively completed the development of key technologies for the industrialization of biological long-chain diacid, biobutanol, and biological glutaryldiamine, and successfully transferred the laboratory technology to the industry line of 100,000 tons. He has led or participated in nearly 10 national science and technology research projects, national key research and development plans. He been authorized dozens of invention patents, and he has also won the second prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress, 863 excellent achievement Award.
