Dr. Wang is a professor of the Institute of Nuclear Energy and New Energy Technology at Tsinghua University. He has been engaged in teaching and research work in environmental pollution prevention and control, mainly focusing on the treatment of refractory industrial wastewater, nuclear waste treatment, and the application of nuclear technology in the field of environmental protection. He has published over 700 academic papers in domestic and foreign journals, including over 500 SCI indexed papers with over 47000 citations and an H-factor of 107. He has been authorized more than 60 national and international invention patents He has also published over 10 Chinese and English monographs, graduate textbooks, and translated textbooks. He has won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of the Ministry of Education Natural Science Award, the first prize of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Natural Science Award, the first prize of the Beijing Science and Technology Award.
