Dr. Liu is a professor and doctoral supervisor of Xi'an Polytechnic University, Vice Dean of the School of Fashion and Art Design, Vice Dean of the Institute of Flexible Electronics and Intelligent Textile, and Director of Shaanxi Provincial Clothing Engineering Center. He has led more than 20 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, National Arts Foundation, etc. He was

selected as the Shaanxi Provincial High Level Talent Plan, the Youth Science &Technology New Star of Shaanxi Province, and the Young Outstanding Talent of Shaanxi Provincial Universities. Has won the first prize of the 14th Excellent Achievement in Philosophy and Social Sciences in Shaanxi Province, the third prize of the 15th Excellent Achievement in Philosophy and Social Sciences in Shaanxi Province, the third prize of Science and Technology Progress in Shaanxi Province, the special prize of Teaching Achievement in China Textile Federation, the Contribution Award for Science and Technology Progress in the Chinese Clothing Industry, the Contributor to Talent Construction in the Chinese Textile Industry, and the first prize of Excellent Achievement in Humanities and Social Sciences in Shaanxi Province's Universities (twice) Second Prize for Outstanding Achievements in Science and Technology Research in Shaanxi Higher Education Institutions (twice).
