Dr. Wang is appointed as a Changjiang Distinguished Professor by China's Ministry of Education and the lead of the 14th Five-Year National Key R&D Program, and currently he serves as a professor and doctoral advisor at Donghua University. He specializes in the information analysis and processing of textile materials, as well as the R&D of textile automation equipment and production lines. He has led three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and more than 30 key research projects in Shandong Province and held 43 authorized invention patents. He was awarded the National Science and Technology Invention Second Prize for 2020 and several First Prizes for Scientific and Technological Progress from the China National Textile and Apparel Council. Additionally, he serves as the program leader of Donghua University's national top-tier undergraduate program in Nonwoven Materials and Engineering, Deputy Director of the Textile Specialized Teaching Steering Committee under the Ministry of Education, and Director of the Research Base of the Textile Engineering Society.
