Dr. Lin achieved a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry in 1998 and presently serves as a Professor at Tiangong University. His research focuses on a broad range of areas, including functional fibers/fabrics (such as superwetting fabrics), electrospinning, nanofibers, polymer materials, and novel energy materials. Prof. Lin has made significant contributions to the development of innovative materials and techniques, like

coil electrospinning for large-scale nanofiber production, durable and self-healing superwetting surfaces, unidirectional liquid-transport textiles induced by opposite wettability, and unique energy-harvesting nanofibers. He has contributed to the development of high temperature piezoelectric polymers and direct-current nanogenerators. His research has led to the publication of more than 310 articles in esteemed journals, 16 books, and 19 book chapters.
