Dr. Guo is a professor of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University and a Distinguished Professor of the Changjiang Scholars Program of the Ministry of Education. He has been engaged in research on industrial textile materials. He has won the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Science and Technology Innovation Award, China Youth Science and Technology Award. He has published more than 60 peer-reviewed papers. He is the inventor of more than 50 patents, and the laureate of State Technological Invention Award (Grade 2) and State Science and Technology Progress Award (Grade 2).
