Dr. Liu is a professor and doctoral supervisor of Dalian University of Technology. He is a young scholar of Chang Jiang Scholars Program of the Ministry of Education and a winner of Liaoning Province Excellent Youth Project. He served as the deputy Secretary General of 8th National Metal Cutting Machine Tool Standardization Technical Committee, deputy Secretary General of SAC/TC22 International Standardization Working Committee, member of the 11th Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society Production Engineering Branch cutting professional committee, and reviewer of more than 20 international SCI journals. His research interests lie in the intelligent manufacturing technology and equipment, including measures-processing integration technology, multi-parameter onmachine and in-place precision measurement technology, robot-assisted manufacturing and other aspects. He has led 20 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation projects, JCJQ projects, civil aircraft projects, and sub-projects of major national science and technology projects.
