Dr. Jiang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Jiangnan University. He is a director of the Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education of Knitting Technology, and the executive director of the Chinese Engineering Society and director of the knitting Professional Committee. He has long been engaged in the research of intelligent textile equipment and new textile structural materials. He has presided over 6 national science and technology plan projects and more than 20 provincial and ministerial level projects, and won one Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress, one Second Prize of National Teaching achievements, four First Prize of Science and Technology Progress of China Textile Industry Federation, two Second Prize of Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Progress, and more than twenty other provincial and ministerial level awards. He has more than 7 authorized international invention patents, 142 authorized Chinese invention patents, and 10 software copyrights. He has edited 11 national planning textbooks and monographs such as Knitting Science, published more than 400 research papers, including over 100 SCI papers, trained more than 120 doctoral and master’s students, and more than 4000 professional and technical personnel.
