Dr. Peng is a doctor of engineering, a researcher in the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is mainly engaged in the research of basic theory of thin plate microfabrication and its application technology. As the person in charge, he has undertaken 8 national level projects including the Excellent Youth Fund, national key research and development projects, the National

Natural Science Foundation of China and sub projects of the National 863 project, and 1 innovative project of the Military Commission. As a principal researcher, he has participated in five projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, including the major cooperation projects in international regions, key fund projects, and the frontier project on fuel cell development of Shanghai Automotive Group. He has won the first prize of the 2017 China Automotive Industry Invention Award, Shanghai Shuguang scholar, 2016 Young Chang Jiang Scholar, 2015 first prize of the Ministry of education natural science award, and 2012 Shanghai young science and technology star. He has published more than 40 SCI-indexed research papers in INT J MACH TOOL MANU, transaction of ASME, JPS and other international journals. He has more than 10 authorized invention patents.
